MRS. L.'S CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 (4 oz.) bar baking chocolate
1/4 c. butter
2 lg. eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. corn starch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (10 oz.) unbaked deep dish pie crust
Sprinkle of coconut and pecans

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Microwave chocolate and butter one minute until melted. Blend together. In medium bowl beat eggs. Add sugar, corn starch and salt. Beat until smooth. Blend into chocolate mixture. Gradually add milk and vanilla.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with coconut and pecans. Bake 50 to 60 minutes. Check center with knife -should be thick.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
