IDA MAE WELLS COCONUT PIE 
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. rounded flour or cornstarch
1 qt. milk
2 tbsp. vanilla
4 or 5 egg yolks
2 cans coconut
Pinch salt

Mix and cook until thickened and pour in baked pie shell. Top with meringue 5 egg whites beaten stiff and 10 tablespoons sugar and brown in oven at 350 degrees until golden brown. Makes 2 pies.
