HAMBURGER QUICHE 
1 (9 inch) pie shell, unbaked
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. mayonnaise (do not use Miracle Whip)
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. grated cheese (Cheddar or Swiss or both combined)
1/3 c. sliced onion
1/3 c. chopped green pepper

Brown beef in skillet over medium heat. Drain fat and set aside. Blend mayonnaise, milk, eggs, and cornstarch. Stir in meat, cheese, onion, and pepper. Turn into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 8.
