BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH MUSTARD SAUCE | |
1 pt. Brussels sprouts and 1/4 c. water 2 tsp. unsalted butter 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard 2 tbsp. low-sodium beef broth 1 tsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. black pepper In 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, put Brussels sprouts and water; cover tightly and microwave on High for 8 to 11 minutes or until tender. Drain in colander and rinse under cold tap water. In saucepan, melt butter over low heat; stir in mustard, beef broth, lemon juice and pepper. Blend until smooth (about 1 minute). Coat Brussels sprouts with sauce. |
