4 to 5 tbsp. flour
1 pt. hot milk
1 tsp. Worcestershire or A-1 or Lea & Perrins sauce
2 drops Tabasco sauce
1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese

Cook. After sauce thickens to desired consistency add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over ham, chicken, bacon, turkey or hamburger with toasted bread and French fries.
