CRISPY COOKIE COFFEECAKE 
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. scalded milk, cool to lukewarm
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Dissolve yeast in water. In large bowl, combine flour, salt, and 1/4 cup sugar. Cut in butter. Combine eggs, milk, and yeast; add to flour mixture. Mix lightly; cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Divide dough in half, on floured board roll each piece into 12 x 18 inch rectangle. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixed with cinnamon. Roll tightly long ways; cut into 1 inch slices. Place on greased baking sheet. Flatten with palm of hand. Bake 12 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes about 36 rolls. Can be frosted, if desired with thin glaze.
