MEXICAN CORNBREAD CASSEROLE 
1 pkg. cornbread mix
1 lb. ground meat
1 can cream style corn
1 sm. chopped onion
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Jalapeno peppers

Mix cornbread mix as directed on package; pour into hot greased 10 inch skillet. Brown ground meat, seasoned with garlic salt and pepper. Drain spread over cornbread mixture. Layer corn, onions, and cheese. Arrange jalapeno peppers on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before serving.
