BOIJA 
1 yeast cake
1 lb. cornmeal
1 lb. flour
1 c. grated coconut
4 bananas (mashed to pulp)
1 c. melted shortening
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 c. sugar
4 c. water

Make a starter with yeast cakes, 1/2 pound or 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Set to rise. Add other ingredients. Beat to stiff batter. Pour into greased tines, allow to rise before baking.
