COUNTRY CORN BREAD 
1 egg
1/4 c. oil
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. cornmeal
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking soda

Mix first nine ingredients, pour into hot 9" skillet with 2 tablespoons oil in it, top with small chips of butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
