RICE PILAF | |
3 tbsp. minced onion 3 tbsp. melted butter 1 1/2 c. uncooked converted rice 1 minced clove garlic 2 1/2 c. chicken broth (College Inn) 1 sm. (4 oz.) can mushrooms 1/2 c. sliced almonds 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper In 10 1/2 inch frying pan, saute onions in butter until tender. Add rice and garlic, stirring until rice is lightly brown. Blend in chicken broth and bring mixture to a boil. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until rice is cooked. |
