1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
4 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs

Cream sugars and shortening. Beat eggs and add peanuts. Add to creamed mixture. Add oatmeal. Sift together flour, baking powder and soda. Add gradually. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees.
