3/4 c. all-purpose sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped dates
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. table salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Butter to coat inside of 10x15x1 inch baking pan
1 c. 10X confectioners' sugar

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in sifted. Combine dates and nuts in medium mixing bowl. Sift dry ingredients over dates and nuts, mix well. Beat eggs in small bowl until light and stir into mixture.

Spread thin into well buttered baking pan. Bake 350 degrees 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes in pan and cut into 1x2 inch strips. Remove from pan while still warm and roll in confectioners' sugar.
