HAWAIIAN BANANA - NUT BREAD | |
3 c. all-purpose flour 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. chopped nuts 3 eggs, beaten 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil 2 c. ripe, mashed bananas 1 (8 oz.) can drained, crushed pineapple 2 tsp. vanilla extract Combine dry ingredients; stir in nuts; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients and add to dry mixture. Stir just until batter is moist. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans. Cool completely. Suggestion: Cut the oil in half and use the juice from the pineapple. |
