EARTHQUAKE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 (3 oz.) can coconut
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar

Grease a 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pan. Sprinkle coconut over pecans. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour over pecans and coconut. Melt butter and cream cheese together; add powdered sugar; mix well. Pour mixture over cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Cut into squares and serve. Yield: 24 servings.
