FLAPPER PIE 
12 lg. graham crackers
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter

PIE:

3 tbsp. cornstarch (or flour)
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 c. sweet milk
2 eggs
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
Pinch salt

Roll crackers fine, setting aside a few for the top of pie. Add white sugar and melted butter to the remainder of crumbs. Mold in a pie dish for the crust.

Mix egg yolks, brown sugar, cornstarch, milk, butter and salt. Cook in double boiler until thick. Then add vanilla. Pour in crust. Beat egg whites. Add 2 tablespoons powdered sugar. Cover pie with remaining crumbs.
