TASTE OF SUMMER SLAW 
2 lb. cabbage, red & white, shredded
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 med. pepper, finely chopped

DRESSING:

1/2 c. white wine vinegar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed

Mix cabbage, onion and pepper with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Stop here if you are not going to serve within 3 hours.

2-3 hours before serving: Combine ingredients for dressing in a glass dish and microwave for 1 hour. Stir and dump in cabbage mix, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve. (Do not keep for more than 2 days, cabbage absorbs too much vinegar.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
