MIXED VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
1 1/4 lb. broccoli and cauliflower flowerets (frozen)
2 1/2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 small onion
1 c. milk
3 oz. cream cheese
3/4 c. Cheddar cheese
French fried onions (enough to adequately cover)

Cook vegetables and drain. Melt butter and add flour and salt. Add milk to flour mixture. Cook until thick. Reduce heat. Add cream cheese; blend until smooth. Pour sauce over vegetables and mix slightly. Top with cheese and onions.

Bake at 350°F until heated through.

I bake for a while and then add French fried onions as they brown quickly.
