Soft Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

 Trae (Massachusetts) says:
I changed it up a bit, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup brown, instead of almond extract, a dash of nutmeg. My hubby loves sugar cookies but rarely finds them how he likes them, thin, crisp on the outside and soft and chewy in the middle. He loved them just this way. Thanks for the help cooks.com!
