PARTY PECAN BALLS | |
1 1/4 c. confectioners sugar, sifted, divided 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sifted Martha White all-purpose flour 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. pecans, finely chopped Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream 1/4 cup confectioners sugar and butter until smooth. Add vanilla, blend well. Add flour and salt, blend; add pecans. Cover with foil. Chill 1 hour. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets. Shape into 1/2 inch balls. Place on prepared baking sheets. Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from baking sheets. Roll each ball in remaining cup of confectioners sugar. Cool on wire racks. Roll again in confectioners sugar. Store in airtight container. |
