CHOCOLATE - CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
1 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
2/3 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

1. Sift flour, baking soda and salt onto waxed paper.

2. Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and egg.

3. Mix in dry ingredients; stir in chocolate chips and pecans.

4. Drop onto greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.

5. Bake 10 minutes until cookies brown lightly. 4 dozen.
