1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut
1 c. sunflower meats

Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat. Then add dry ingredients except oatmeal. Stir in oatmeal, coconut and sunflower meats. Drop from teaspoon onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until brown. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
