COCONUT BON-BONS 
2 lb. confectioners sugar
2 sticks butter
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 (7 oz.) can shredded coconut
2 tsp. vanilla, brandy, and/or other extracts
Food colorings, cherries, and nuts; optional

Mix together and chill. Roll into small bite size balls and place on cookie sheet. Freeze for at least 2 hours.

Melt over hot water: 12 ounces of chocolate chips and 1/2 stick paraffin (or melting chocolate).

With a toothpick, "stab" a frozen ball and dip into chocolate to coat. Return to freezer briefly to set. Put in covered container and refrigerate.

Varieties you can play with:

Cherries with pink food coloring

Almond with nuts

Mint extract with green.
