I am so sad, but they do not make Roka Blue any more! I am looking for a recipe to substitute for the one I have made with that.

Get some Gorganzola and cream it into your cream cheese. Then blend in the other two.

Rats! No more Roka Blue?!?! I've been making this recipe since 1974. I thought I would try mixing in blue cheese crumbles.

We are also very sad and hoping that Kraft will bring back the Roka Blue.
This has been a recipe passed down from my Mother to me to our children...
It has been a favorite Christmas tradition that we all anticipate.

I also am unhappy about the roka blue being discontinued, I am going to try to substitute a garlic and herb soft cheese, for the roka..... hopefully it will be ok. Happy Holidays to all and everyone write to Kraft to bring back our Roka Blue.

In another post I found this:

I made some "Roka Blue" this weekend. It was a double batch and it was pretty darn close.

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
5 oz. blue cheese (I used Maytag)
6 tbsp. water

I let the cheeses come to room temperature. Then I put them in a food processor and pulse until combined. Then I added the 6 tbsp. of water and ran the processor until smooth. I used my version of "Roka Blue" in an old family recipe and it was very close to what it should have been. Good luck.

Here are the list of ingredients from the Kraft label: Cream Cheese (Pasteurized Nonfat Milk and Milkfat, Cheese Culture, Whey Protein Concentrate, Salt, Stabilizers (Xanthan and/or Carob Bean and/or Guar Gums), Water, Blue Cheese (Pasteurized Milk, Cheese Culture, Salt, Enzymes), Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey, contains less than 2% of Salt, Beef Gelatin, Lactic Acid, Carob Bean Gum, Pectin, Guar Gum.

RE: Buying Kraft Roka Blue Cheese Spread
I found a substitute for Kraft Roka Blue Cheese. I made my cheeseballs today and they came out better. I used Rondele's Gourmet spreadable blue cheese.

Hopefully one of these two will work out for you. ;)

I haven't been able to get the roka blue cheese for the past couple of years - then all of a sudden it was back on the shelves of a local grocery store. Not sure what's going but I bought several jars!

I have a special Kraft Roka Blue Cheese ball my grandma made that has been at our families holiday dinners for years. When I was having a hard time finding the little jars of Roka Cheese I wrote to Kraft explaining how devastated our family would be without it. After a year I never heard back from Kraft and couldn't find the Roka Cheese spread anywhere. Last year I tried to make it with blue cheese but it wasn't the same. THEN I GOT A LETTER FROM KRAFT... They first said it was a discontinued product and then went on to say that due to the countless letters, emails, and calls from consumers they were going to bring back the Roka Blue Spread JUST for the Holidays. Keep your eye out in Nov. and I just purchased some extras (Exp last for 6 months). Goes to show that if enough people express their "LIKES" it can make a difference!!! VERY HAPPY =)
