SHIRLEY'S CORNBREAD SALAD 
2 green peppers or celery, diced
2 medium onions, diced
4 medium tomatoes, diced
1/2 c. sweet pickles, chopped
1/4 c. pickle juice
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

Layer crumbled cornbread, bacon, onions, pepper (or celery) and tomatoes. Add salt, pepper and pickles. Mix pickle juice, mayonnaise and sugar well. Shake and drizzle over salad. Toss lightly before serving. Pour dressing over salad before serving so dressing can soak in.
