ALOHA CHIPPERS 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. dark rum or water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. white chocolate chips (6 oz.)
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. coarsely chopped macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Leave cookie sheets ungreased. Cream butter, sugars, egg, rum, vanilla, baking soda, and salt until light and fluffy. Blend in flour until dough is smooth. Stir in semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes. Do not over bake. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
