GRANDMA'S LASAGNA | |
1 c. chopped onion 1 green pepper, cut up 2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground chuck 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. sugar 1 lb. 12 oz. can tomatoes 1 can tomato sauce 2 c. water Saute onions, pepper, butter for 3 minutes. Add meat, breaking up meat with a spoon as it browns. Add remaining ingredients, heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. In a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan layer tomato/meat mixture and 1 package uncooked wide lasagna noodles and 8 ounces Mozzarella cheese, ending with cheese on top. Make sure noodles are covered with sauce. Cover pan with aluminum foil. Bake in preheated at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
