GOLDEN APRICOT BARS 
1 c. dried apricots, cut in half
1 tbsp. butter (butter)
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. raisins (white)
1/2 c. crushed pineapple, well drained

Cook apricots about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside. Cream butter; add eggs and sugar. Cream until light. Add lemon juice. Sift dry ingredients into mixture. Beat well. Add raisins and then pineapple, then apricots. Mix well after each addition. Spread in greased and floured 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes (can double recipe and bake in jelly roll pan). When cool, dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
