RAISED REFRIGERATOR ROLLS 
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
3 c. flour

Mix shortening in boiling water; add sugar and salt. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add beaten egg. Combine above two mixtures and mix in flour. Put in refrigerator for 8 hours. Roll out in 2 rectangular shapes. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and roll up.

Slice and put in greased 9 x 13 inch pan or two 9 inch cake pans. Let rise until double in size and bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

VARIATION: Make pecan rolls by mixing 1 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup butter and 1 tablespoon corn syrup. Put in pan and sprinkle with pecans, then add dough slices.
