CRESCENT MUSHROOM BREAD | |
A delicious appetizer or accompaniment to a variety of entrees or salads, though it's especially wonderful with Italian dishes or as a side for your next steak dinner! 1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced fresh baby bella mushrooms 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 tsp. dried Italian seasoning Preheat oven to 375°F. Unroll crescent rolls; do not separate. Press into a 9x13-inch baking pan. Toss mushrooms with melted butter to coat. Arrange over top of dough. Sprinkle with grated cheese and Italian seasoning. Bake at 375°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm. NOTES: • Can use shredded Parmesan or Italian blend cheese, or your favorite. • Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes for a little heat, if desired. • Try serving with a bowl of warmed marinara or pizza sauce for dipping!
