BARBECUE COUNTRY PORK RIBS | |
Mix in bowl: 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. salt 1 tbsp. celery seed 1 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. paprika Add: 1/4 c. vinegar 1 c. ketchup Trim fat from serving size pieces of pork. Salt and pepper. Place on broiler pan and broil 15 to 20 minutes each side to remove excess fat and brown. Place 1 sliced onion in crock pot, browned meat and sauce over all. Cook high 4 to 5 hours, or low for 8 to 10 hours. Recipe done in oven. Skip onion. Place meat on broiler pan so fat will drain away. Bake 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Last 3/4 hour baste with sauce. |
