HOMEMADE MAYONNAISE 
2 egg yolks
2 c. vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. paprika
4 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt

Beat egg yolks slightly in a very cold bowl. Add oil at first very slowly, a few drops at a time. As mayonnaise begins to thicken, the oil may be added more rapidly until a tablespoon at a time is being added. Stir and beat constantly while adding oil, add lemon juice slowly after mayonnaise begins to thicken (while adding oil). It is wiser not to add salt and paprika until all the oil has been used.
