ROCKY ROAD BARS 
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
6 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 tbsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) of butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. of chopped walnuts or pecan
3/4 c. multicolored chocolate
2/3 c. miniature marshmallows

1. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Mixing well

2. Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl of an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add the egg one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the dry ingredients just until blended; stir in 1/2 cup of the nuts. Spread the batter into a greased 12 by 8 inch microwave-safe baking dish.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
