EMMA'S MEATBALLS | |
2 lbs. hamburger 1/2 lb. pork sausage 1 onion, chopped 3 eggs, well beaten 2 c. soft bread crumbs Cayenne and paprika, a few grains 1/2 tsp. nutmeg Salt and pepper to taste 2 lg. cans Campbells tomato juice Mix thoroughly all ingredients (except tomato juice) and season to taste with salt, pepper, cayenne and paprika. Make into balls, roll in flour, drop into boiling juice, cover and cook 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve on hard rolls. |
