JOYCE'S BARBECUE MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion

Roll in 1 inch balls. Roll in flour and brown in shortening. Make sauce, recipe below. Mix sauce and heat. Pour over meatballs and simmer on stove over low heat until done, about 1/2 hour or bake in 325 degree oven for about 45 minutes, covered. Makes about 35 meatballs.

Meatballs may also be baked in shallow pan at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes and cooled and stored in refrigerator. Cover with sauce and reheat in 375 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

SAUCE:

1 c. catsup
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. sugar
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. diced onions

Combine.
