BARBECUE RIBS 
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 pkg. onion soup mix (7 oz.)
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. celery salt
3 tsp. liquid smoke
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. water or beer
country style ribs, as many as you want

Boil ribs, 15 minutes per pound. Mix all ingredients for sauce. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Drain ribs. Place, meaty side up, in roaster. Cover with sauce. Roast 1 1/2 hours at 350°F, basting with sauce occasionally.

This sauce usually makes 2 batches. Refrigerate half until you make chicken or ribs again.
