CRANBERRY ORANGE BREAD 
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 beaten egg
1 tsp. grated orange peel
3/4 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 c. coarsely chopped fresh cranberries
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Yields 1 loaf.

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and soda. Combine egg, grated orange peel, orange juice, and salad oil. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.

Fold in cranberries and walnuts. Bake in greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan in 350 degree oven for 60 minutes or until done. Remove from pan; cool. Wrap and store overnight.
