CRANBERRY - ORANGE NUT BREAD 
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
Boiling water
Juice of 1 orange
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. chopped cranberries
1/2-1 c. chopped walnuts

Combine flour, baking powder, soda and sugar; set aside. Add enough boiling water to orange juice to make 3/4 cup liquid; add butter and stir until melted. Stir into dry ingredients. Add egg, mixing until smooth. Then fold in cranberries and walnuts. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan; bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until bread tests done.
