PEACH COBBLER 
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 qt. frozen or #2 can sliced peaches

Place butter in long Pyrex dish and place in oven to melt. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and milk; beat to a batter. Pour batter over melted butter, spreading over dish.

Place peaches and juice evenly on top of pastry. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until brown. Pastry rises to top. DO NOT STIR!! Other fruits or berries may be used.
