FRESH TURNIP GREENS 
1 lg. bunch turnip greens (2 to 2 1/2 lbs.)
1/4 lb. fresh pork
Salt to taste
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. peanut oil
About 1 qt. boiling water

(There should be enough water to more than cover the greens.) Check leaves of fresh greens carefully; remove pulpy stems and discolored spots on leaves. Wash thoroughly in several changes of water. Cook pork in boiling water about 30 minutes, then add seasonings and greens and boil about 45 minutes or until tender. Drain thoroughly and cut up fine (very) using a knife and fork or 2 knives.
