CHICKEN PAPRIKASH 
2 med. onions, diced
1 lg. fryer, disjointed
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley (optional)
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. paprika

Brown onions in small amount of oil; add chicken, salt, pepper, parsley and water. Cover pan tightly; simmer until chicken is tender, about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Stir occasionally, adding water as needed. Combine remaining ingredients; cook until thickened. Add to chicken; stir constantly until boiling. Serve with dumplings, if desired.
