OLD FASHIONED FUDGE 
5 tbsp. cocoa
3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 c. condensed milk
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

In a saucepan combine cocoa, sugar, corn syrup and condensed milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cover saucepan and cook 2 minutes. Uncover and cook to 234 degrees or until soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla without stirring. When cooled to 115 degrees beat until thick and pour in a greased 9 x 9 inch pan.
