BAR-B-Q RELISH 
2 qt. cabbage, med. head measured after cut
2 qt. green tomatoes (solid)
6 lg. onions
12 green & red sweet peppers
3 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. mustard seed
2 tbsp. celery seed
1 tsp. turmeric
5 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar

Grind cabbage, tomatoes, onions and sweet peppers through food chopper. Sprinkle salt over mixture and let stand overnight. Drain, then add spices and cook 30 minutes. (Count the time after it comes to a boil.) The cabbage and tomatoes I cut into sizes to put through chopper measured first because of juice. 8-10 pints.
