LORI'S DUMP CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 can pie filling (apple, blueberry, cherry, etc.)
1 can pineapple chunks with juice (or canned peaches)
1 stick butter
1 c. coconut (optional)
1 c. slivered almonds or walnuts (optional)

In oblong cake pan dump 1 can pie filling and 1 can pineapple chunks with juice. (You can use 2 cans of filling instead of pineapple or peaches. Mix and match!)

Sprinkle cake mix on top of pie filling to evenly cover. Chop butter into small pieces; sprinkle over top of cake mix. Sprinkle coconut and nuts over all (optional). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until coconut is browned.
