PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE KISSES 
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
1/3 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. sifted flour, self rising
40 lg. milk chocolate kisses

Combine brown sugar, peanut butter and butter in a mixing bowl; beat until thoroughly blended. Add egg and vanilla and blend well. Add flour, blend well. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven, press a chocolate kiss into center of each cookie, return to oven. Bake 3 minutes longer checking chocolate to avoid burning. Transfer to wire rack and cool. Makes about 40 cookies.
