BUTTER POUND CAKE | |
1 lb. butter 1 lb. confectioners' sugar 1 lb. all-purpose flour 6 eggs 1 tbsp. vanilla or flavoring of your choice Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. To measure flour, fill empty sugar box with sifted flour. Add to creamed mixture in small amounts. Add flavoring and bake in tube pan sprayed with Pam for approximately 1 hour at 325 degrees. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing. |
