BREADED PORK CHOPS & KRAUT | |
6 (1") pork chops 4 c. bread crumbs (Italian seasoning) 1 egg Dash of milk (mix with egg) 3 tbsp. flour (mix with bread crumbs) 1 c. vegetable oil 1 can or pkg. kraut Dip pork chops in egg then bread crumb mixture. Place in large frying pan (teflon) in oil on low to medium heat. Turn when golden brown. When golden brown on both sides, remove and place on paper towels. Remove most of the remaining oil, about 3 ounces and place kraut in the same pan. Fry and stir 5 or 10 minutes. Make mash, baked potatoes or noodles or rice with it and it is delish. Serve with applesauce. |
