WALNUT FUDGE BROWNIES 
1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt in small bowl of electric mixer at medium speed. Beat butter, sugar, and eggs until mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in melted chocolate and vanilla. At a low speed, blend in flour mixture. Fold in chopped nuts. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Cut into squares.
