HONEY OF ROSES | |
1/2 lb. rose hips 2 c. water 2 lbs. strained honey 1. Mash hips with wooden mallet or spoon. 2. Boil 15 minutes in water. 3. Add honey and boil down to thick syrup. 4. Pour into scalded jars and seal. Makes about 1 quart. |
