CHEESE APPETIZERS 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 c. grated Provolone or cheddar cheese
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten

In a bowl combine the flour and cheese and cut in the butter. Stir in the milk until it is well blended. Divide the dough into 24 pieces. Roll each piece into a 5" strip. Shape the strips into wreaths on an ungreased cookie sheet. Brush the tops of the pastries with the egg. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 300 degrees or until lightly brown. Makes 24.
