BROWN AND WILD RICE | |
1/2 c. wild rice 1/4 tsp. sage 1 c. wine 20 oz. chicken broth 1 c. brown rice 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/4 c. butter 1 sm. can mushrooms, drained Heat oven to 350 degrees. Wash and drain wild rice. In ungreased 2 quart casserole combine all ingredients. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover. Continue baking 45 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is gone. |
